Negative thinking and bad moods make people less credulous, increases the ability to evaluate others, and also improves your memory - according to a survey published in the latest edition of the magazine "Australian Science.
A study conducted by prof. Joseph Forgasa from the University of New South Wales has shown that people who are in a bad mood, were more critical and pay more attention to the environment happier than people who are willing to believe what they say. "While a good mood seems to favor such as creativity, adaptability and ease of collaboration, the mood starts more care and careful thinking, making calls more attention to the outside world" - Forgas wrote in his article. The study Forgas and his team conducted several experiments that have begun to call the happiness and sadness with the film and recall good or bad events. In one study were asked in a good or a bad mood the participants to assess the veracity of anecdotes and gossip. It turned out that people in a bad mood does not believe in less willingly, they were also less inclined to make decisions based on racial and religious prejudices, the people of this group committed fewer errors when they were asked about remembering the events they had witnessed. According Forgasa it shows that "people in a bad mood include less inclined to commit errors of assessment are more resistant to distortion of facts by witnesses and are better at convincing articulation of thought."
